New pitboss

In fact I did logged in just to make sure the game is paused and last player who played - Dick76's turn is secured too. So the game is paused now after the reload and Dick's moves are also there and we are only waiting for CH to play or a sub to come by.

As far as I am interested in this game to continue as soon as possible as smooth as possible, I will say my thoughts and will offer my solution.

I think we wont be able to find a "normal" sub quick, so I am OK with someone of the players in this game taking over temporaty to let the game move. Of course someone who is not neighbor will be ideal, but if the alternative is to keep the game on hold forever, or turn CH's civ in to an AI, then I will support any sub from the game.

I know it is frustrating, but i can't continue to play because of my health. It is really frustrating for me since this has been a long term problem that looks like never getting resolved.

WAIT! I know this is kind of last moment, but I can take Classical_Hero's Place in the game, if that is okay.

I have great experience in Multiplayer Civ, although I have never played a pitboss game, I have done countless researching and I know how it works.

And as for activity, I can play Civ for about an hour in mid-day, and about 2-5 Hours EARLY in the morning.

Please let me know what I need to do to join, and if I can or not. Thank you.

Let us wait for lets say 1 more day for 1889 to respod if he will be taking Bistrita's place, as it might happen that we are in need for a sub for his civ in first place.

Hopefully, I can stay actively committed to the game, but I just remembered that I am going on Vacation for a week or so in Early/Mid Feb, and for 1-2 days this saturday.
Maybe someone could sub me or something when I'm gone?
Or is there a way that my turn will automatically skip like in some other PitBoss games I have seen?
(Or, Someone logging into the game as me, and then Skipping the turn?)


...OR...I could just be a sub. (Because of my Vac. Days)
Personally, I'd prefere not to be one, but whatever works for you.

Also, I tryed to join, just to test it out haha, but I would need Classical's Entry Code thingy. Im guessing you'll give that to me later or change/remove it somehow?

So the situation is as follows: 1889 seems to be out of reach, so we must proceed and look for 2 subs. One is Jaydog, the other must be someone from this game. Best would be if this other sub have no or almost no touch with the civ he is going to take to sub.

Guys, the situation is like this:

Seems we cant get "normal" replacements for the 2 spots which are open. Our option is to use players from the game to keep it going.

Dick can take Sumeria and either I (I have no contact with Classical Hero's Spain) or Cristoval or as last resort Sinimusta (who had PMed me saying he is willing to play Spain, but he is neighbor of it).

We must make decision and put it in action, otherwise the game will die if we keep undecided much longer. Let's play it.

But I will be on vacation starting January 24th at 4 PM EST, and back at about 5 AM on the 25th.

If you're looking for replacements I could help, I'm not completely unspoiled because I took a look at REM's empire in the early game but haven't done so for months now.

We only need CH's civ to be kicked to AI because CH did not provided a password for it. Jaydog expressed desire to take over it first and then methinkso, then AdrienIer.

But if you guys wanna take part in a pitboss, we can organize one as Caledorn was kind to offer us hosting to it if we have players.

What you think? How many we are for a new pitboss?

I've kicked Classical hero's Spain to AI. Jaydog should be able to log in and claim it now. If there is any logging in or claiming the civ, or if you guys need further action from me someone please send me a PM over at Realms Beyond (like 2metra did here -- thanks!).
