I am back from Vacation, but I noticed that the game is paused when I attempted to play my turn. ("Game Paused by D")

If someone could unpause it, that would be great. Thank you.

Anyone can unpause by pressing the "PAUSE" button on your keyboard. Unless there is a diplo-screen open (deal proposal or getting in-game text message by someone). In this case, you must click the button which you like - "Accept" or "Decline" or simply "exit" (was it "exit" or "done" or something else?) Then you will still have to close the game by ctrl-alt-del. Then you post here you clicked a button and someone will login to unpause/pause so the next time you login the diplo-screen will be gone hopefully.

In case you are using Mac (no "pause" button on keyboard), or my explanation is not clear, you will have to say what time you will be online, so someone logs in with you and unpauses for you.

Okay, well, I have a PAUSE button on my keyboard, but I am stuck in a Diplo-Screen.
Last Night I clicked "Exit Trade" and then I closed the game.
So I need someone to log on and unpause..?

Okay so I just logged in, but it seems I am in a (Second Diplo Screen?) Diplo Screen with REM.
In the Diplo Chat log, it says something about low troops.
This must be a new screen, I did not see this earlier.
I clicked "Exit Trade" and closed Civ 4 after multiple failed attempts to unpause myself.

Meanwhile, can we have all players report they are around and they follow the thread? It's been like 2-3 weeks the game was on hold, so we need to see if everyone is still following. (Would hate to get the game started just to find out we lost another player.)

Good News and some Bad News.

Good News: I am out of the Diplos, I can now check on cities, open new diplos, ETC.
Bad News: Game is paused by Dick, and It will not let me unpause it.
(I have tried
PAUSE, PAUSE + CTRL, PAUSE + SHIFT, Pause + Everything.)

Looking forward to fixing these minor conflicts and continuing. (Or starting a new PB)

Hmm, strange... You should be perfectly able to unpause.

Are you around? I can ask Dick to unapuse and you can come right after him. Follow http://www.civstats.com/viewgame.php?gameid=2746 for info what is going on with the logins.

BTW, while the game is paused, you should not open diplo-screens, as you will lock yourself.

But maybe it is just the server crashed in unusual way when you can login, but the timer is frozen.

I just logged on, and Unpaused, using FN + SHIFT = PAUSE, and completed my turn.

It is now paused once again by me, so whoever is next can log on and complete their turn.

And where I am, it is 3:34 AM, and I'll be online until about 6 AM. (Don't ask lol)

edit: Yeah, if you are using a laptop, sometimes the special keys are used with "Fn" key.

Can you log in again please and unpause, there are 24 hours so everyone should be able to play and not have to deal with diplo-screen locks himself.
