New player, just saying hi

Hi everyone,
I started to play Civ 3 a few days ago after seeing it on my shelf still unopened. I decided to give it a try and im starting to like it, even thou i still suck at it lol. Anyway, i only have hte original Civ 3 and im thinking of picking up the gold version (for PTW) and conquest expansion pack.

We generally frown on "Hi, I'm new here" - type threads, here.

But to answer your implied question, I would skip Civ3 Gold, and just get Conquests. It comes with PTW on the same CD, so with it, you would have all three versions of the game.
