Is it possible to add the notes section to the user CP/profile like poly has? Just wondering, because I've noticed it on poly and about never post over there. Also I'm sure it will come in useful for many people over here ;)

I don't plan to add any more hacks/features to the forums because the new version vB 3.0 is around the corner. A beta version should be out by Christmas...

Ok.... Would it be possible to do it when vB 3.0 comes out?

Sure, if vB 3.0 doesn't come with the notepad feature built in. It probably will take the hack makers a while to make a 3.0 compatible version though...

Ok.... Then I'll wait patiently for it to come out. Then jump on you again to add a notes function.

GC has an option to save your PMs. Maybe those could not count towards the entire pm count. (wow, that was redundant)

What does that have to do with having a notes/free type section in your profile?

good one, but couldn't one just copy them into a word or txt file and save them like that?
Exactly. If you want something to note, why not simply somewhere on your computer instead of on this forum?

I thought that Strider is talking about a profile section called notes, where I assume you talk about, or give notes about, yourself. Or am I wrong?

Aaaaahhh right. That's a different thing.

Hmm, that could do nicely, though I think that things like biography can be left out then.
