New subforum request

Hey forum admin/moderators,

Is it possible to get a new subforum added to the "Civ4 - Creation & Customization" called "Civ4 - Mod Components" where we can put everything that is not a completed modpack, unit graphics or graphic modpacks but a component of a mod.

Just an idea ... anyways ... must complete mod component ...

You misunderstood me, I mean a sub-forum for mod components like your mod or like my military bases mod. Maybe called: "Civ4 - Mod Components"

I agree, it is kind of ridiculous to release a mod for 25 lines of python code.

Great idea, a sub forum for lib type code, snippets etc would be wonderful.

Then I agree . But it will need some active moderator to move around all those threads without having to ask for it every time. My fingers itch when I see a wrongly placed thread , used to be an admin on a big forum .

I also agree!

It would seem that none of the moderators take an active interest in C&C at the moment, though if you just report the thread as in the wrong forum it will usually get moved.

Civ4 - Completed Modpacks subforum looks...err...a bit strange now.

Example: the Animal Mod, this is a mod that would belong into a subforum, because it is mainly intended to be used in other mods.

I am not against creating a forum for smaller mods, but we need a good name for the new forum.

TheLopez suggested "Mod Components"
Master Lexx suggested "Addition Modpacks"

How about just "Smaller Modpacks/Components"?

Just created the sub-forum. I named it "Simple Modifications" for now.
