I oppose a sticky thread for religious topics for a differnt reason then clutter-
as a rther veteran poster of the religious threads i can assure you that each one has a mind of its own, and while they may seem like the same thing to people who dont post in them, the little lines, and crack, and folds, and such all amount to a very differnt feel for each one, its alomast an appealing aspect to them to be honest (and its about the only one to...) though i still think moderating standards should be higher in those threads, as they so often just turn themselves into complicated word duels between an Athesist, and some sort of follower of the numerous christian based faiths,dont know why, but they seem way too fanatical (over somthing that should IMHO offer one guidence, and not be a controler) somtimes....
