I have 1.09. I presume from the above comments that I can upgrade to 1.52 without losing my single-player save game?

Can't answer that, as I went from the CD to version 1.52 in a heartbeat. Well, ok...a few heartbeats, but you get the meaning. LOL

Just double-checked, and it seems the read-me says 1.09 at the top, but checking the build within my software shows I'm running 1.52

As far as I'm aware, there's no need to be on the 1.52 version to play PBEM from 1.09... but I suppose - that's just my experience from other PBEMs - that we should start it with similar versions of the game. Btw, anybody try double-install on Civ IV? Just curious.
