Hi there. I'm totally new to the world of Civ and having played a fair few single player games I would now like to try out the multiplayer.
I've created my gamespy account OK and got as far as the lobby where the list of online games are but I've got no further. Whatever game I connect to it says my search for the host has timed out. I've tried a dozen plus games but no joy.
Another problem is that I get a flicker on my lappies screen. It's a single flicker that happens every ten seconds or so. I don't get this with any other software besides CIV so I assume its a problem with CIV.
How do I correct these prolems.
Please help me out.
