And another thing.... All thought some might want to point out that the pro games are in the league lobby, and that NQ players are "bad at playing civ". Dont be afraid fellas! I don t mean this in any offensive way but the difference in skill level is not that big. Take away mabye the top 3-4 players in the league and the rest got about the same level in NQ and the League regardless of what some might tell you.

With that I want to say to the Nq players that you should not be afraid to try out games at both places. You might actually find that you do very good in duels or 2vs2 against the "pro s"

And to the league players Id like to send an open invitation to come and try out an ffa at NQ when you got some spare time. You might find that some NQ players are really good and enjoy an open ffa and meet a lot of nice people that you can later invite to join you in 2vs2.

"Pros" I seriously doubt people make money off this in any way to be called "Pros". Maybe that is just some internet term that I do not get, but to me it implies "Professional". "Professional" (to me) implies does that for a living.

I digress....

I am a NQ player and I have to say that because I am awful (which I am) is not why I choose ot to play league. I don't like their structure plain and simple! But to each their own!

No one in the league has ever said we are "pros". Yes we have some good players, and any player that makes his way to the top of the rankings has certainly earned it. But the league is all about new players and teaching them, the idea that CivPlayers is only for good players is one of the largest fallacies that I try and educate players on. Every player on the league started out as a "noob" and a quick look at our standings would tell you we have plenty of average players. You can't have a top third of a standings without a mid and bottom third :-/

So if you are a new player do not let this attitude stop you from enjoying league games, yes at first you will lose many games, everyone does, but our top players also enjoy teaching new players how to play, that is how we improve the league skill level and make the games more exciting.
