You have to have seen it to know what I mean. It was a very controversial independent film, one of the first to win Sundance. Aaron Eckhardt's first big role. Eckhardt plays this evil bastard who is brutal to everyone, including this deaf woman who he and his partner in crime set up in this vicious way. But the point of the flick is that audiences largely found Eckhardt to be charismatic and attractive no matter how disgusting and evil he actually was behind the scenes, hence "in the company of men" - the suggestion being that men largely got away with being bastards because that's what's expected of them.

At one point in the flick, Eckhardt's character had just learned that the woman in question was deaf, didn't believe it, and so he sneaks into her office right behind her and shouts "HEY!" at the top of his lungs. No response - except from baffled office workers across the hall, who tiptoe out to try to figure out what the hell is going on.

And I just wanted to take this carefully moderated moment to say that for me, the real moment when I know I've got my money's worth from PTW will be the moment I hit the key to lock in my first autobombard on a human city.

Enormously entertaining discussion you have going on here. Despite dozens of posts, there's been a total of what, maybe 3 or 4 turns played so far? I'll check back in a couple hours when I go to sleep and there will be another 8 pages on this thread. Makes me want to run out and buy PTW right now, if electronics stores were open at midnight...
