this is the reason people are leaving this site cause of people like you. who the hell do you think you are calling him or any one for that matter, a really cool guy? what have you done that is so fabulous for the civ community... deleted.

and about cdg and cfc that you seem to know so deleted much about... there are some really big differences there friend... one is a spam site and the other is a creative site. can you tell the difference.

yup, nothing like increasing your post count with pure unwanted SPAM stuff. and as Mr. Mower said, there are a lot of units at cdg that will never see the light of day at cfc. so you can put that in you're deleted.

and on a side note, nice way for the mods to do their jobs, hell let's all spam unit threads with OT crap.

Well, Mobilize, seeing as you have such a distaste for CDG, perhaps you can enlighten us on what exactly isn't up to par for you there. Through your most horrendous use of the words and grammar of the English language, I am unable to decipher your post as anything other than the meaningless babel of an ignorant fool. Contrary to popular belief, CDG and CFC do not strive to take away each other's traffic and talent, on the contrary, we work together to provide the Civ3 community with the best possible resources on the Internet.

It is quite simple really, CFC is a site that focuses primarily on the game of Civilization 3, and the associated aspects that go along with it. CDG on the other hand focuses primarily on modding Civ3 to make it better, and as such there is no need for competition between us. We both provide great services to the community, and that should be enough.

But it isn't. You, for whatever reason, see fit to flame CDG, my site, and a site that is frequented by more than 2100 others. Each and every one of those people would take offense to that. While I do not attempt to know who you are, I can make inferences by your manner of posting that you are bigoted, and that you seek to destroy the current goodwill that exists between these two great sites.

That would be bad enough, but you go on, flaming a respected member of your own community, and for what? Posting his units at a site dedicated to the work of people like him? If you refer to the rules of your own beloved site, you will find that it is against these statutes to do something like this to anyone, regardless of any personal bias you may feel. Know that your post has been reported multiple times to moderators, and if they have any more sense of right and wrong than you, they will recognize your crimes of flaming and trolling and promptly take action to ban you from this site, blotting out an unwelcome blotch on an otherwise pure landscape.

Wow. I've never seen that many blue words on a post ever. What luck, . At least my unit got fairly good reviews, . Are you guys getting the zip to work, though? Some of mine haven't been recently and I want to make sure this one is.

BTW: I don't mind threadjacking too much, at least it makes the conversation colorful . (pun intended)

OpenFX is much better. I used both, and they both have the same learning curve, with much more power on FX's side.
