New Unit: Solar Sailer

[Orthanc]

A Star Trek unit requested by Flamand, and the quickest unit I've done to date, just two days! Unfortunately my next unit will probably take several times longer, but meh. It's got Phasers but no warp speed since it's entirely solar-driven.

Hmm great unit!
I love the way the sails move (even if it would be realistic the solarwinds are so constant that u wouldn't see it move anyhow but that would mean less fun!)
Are the holes in the big sails intentionally there?

Yeah, the holes were there in the picture I was given to work off of, so they made thier way into the model.

Fixed the sound problem, just download this file, it contains all the sound files in proper format.

Yeah I enjoyed a production rate close to yours for a bit there aaglo, but that's come to a grinding halt since I'm working on the Ragnorok now, which I predict will last me until mid August to complete. Just check out the image in my new preview thread and it should be easy to see why.

Thanks, this one is from Star Trek, apparently Star Trek Deep Space 9, there was a ship in Star Wars Episode 2 that used solar sails as well, you're probably getting this confused with that one.

It's a nice unit.
I'll not be using it for Federation(It's Flamand's request and the mods have to be different to be playable), but still, especially if I could fit it in the game as I'm thinking it, it would be a great addition.

Just tried again and it gives me a file not found... when i click on the link to dload the graphics. Maybe it's the machine I'm using.
