Ah, a good point! I admit, if you used THOSE words any context I can immediately think of, it would have neither style nor panache.

You also know better than to commit needless necromancy. If some newbie bumps a thread that's ages dead on the exact anniversay of it last being active, it's at least ironic. But not if done on purpose.
