EDIT: It's not exactly CTD. The game freezes at the end of the turn and then I'm forced to shut it down via Task Manager.

I have the same porblem. The Game freezes quite often in barbarian turn. Even after loading a savegame it freezes around the same turn again. I had the problem in the last version too, but only one time in every 200 turns, know it's like ever 10 turns.
I even can't close the game via taskmanger, a bit annoying.
 
Thank you, Gazebo (and Ilteroi) for getting this one out so quickly after the last one. The changes look pretty cool - love the naval balancing, and the tradition buff is great for my quest to produce the most great people! Very interested to see how the AI improvements affect the flavor of the game.

Going to play with minimal mods for a change; will make it easier to comment on the version...

Looking forward to starting another marathon while I hide from the hot weather :D

Combat AI seems much improved. I surrounded a Barbarian Hand-Axe against the coast and got it down to 20 HP or so... and it promptly embarked into the water before I could kill it. I found myself both angry and impressed.

That's one of the more amazing, and frustrating things. I am actually having a hard time finishing off units. They tend to get away quite often at very low hp.

Really awesome how it's all working out there.
 
Starting up some more battles on stream ai vs. ai if anyone is interested. Watching out for weirdness, of which there has been very little of.

Did anyone else also experienced this problem? I'd like to know how to dig out error logs, if of course it could possibly help to solve this problem.

Also I'm curious about helicopters: they can't move after attack when all previous of this line can. Is it intended?
 
I seem to hae the same situation as I did with 7-1: ~100 turns played and have seen no events yet. I'm using the full CPP package including EUI but also a lot of other mods incl. RtP (with EUI support) and CultDiv. Can someone confirm that event work with this version?

I checked the gameoptions table in the database and it seems they're turned on.

I'm playing a wide Germany game currently. Panzers at ballistics is amazing. These things are nigh unstoppable at this point in the game, especially with the "stalwart" promotion. The blitzkrieg is real; and it is terrifying.
 
Please could someone upload the installer into a mirror? I can't download from MEGA anymore. The bandwidth error always shows up, even with a damn VPN.
 
Could you try out to delete your browser cache? Even restarting the router could be an option, or using another browser..
 
Is there a reason in this version why some of my units can heal while others cannot? Is there something I missed? Does a city need a barracks, for example, to heal units?

Units don't heal if their underlying reslource (iron, horses, oil) are no longer available. Other than that, they all heal on a sliding scale, from city to home territory, to neutral, to enemy, and finally to water (no healing).

Specifically, before any perks (e.g., Medic), Land units heal at
  • +20 HP/turn in a City in your own/allied territory,
  • +15 HP/turn in your own/allied territory,
  • +10 HP/turn in neutral/unowned territory, and
  • +5 HP/turn in enemy territory.

And, as Txurce said, no healing for units that require a resource that you currently lack, and land units cannot heal while embarked.

As far as I know units heal directly in the city for 20 HP/turn.

It doesn't work. I found another person with the same issue. There's a 6h counter that never ends and nothing can be downloaded cause your "share" is never refreshed. I tried on 2 different PCs, 4 different browsers (cleaning everything) and 2 VPN providers and yes, the router was restarted cause there was a blackout here. :cry:
