New Xenforo v2 feature: "article" type threads

Right now "article" type threads are only activated in this forum, to gather your opinion.

Differences between an "article" and a normal "discussion" thread:
- formatting of the first post is different, with the poster on the bottom, so highlighting the content. This could be very appropriate for e.g. war academy articles
- a part of the OP will stay on top of every page of a thread, so you can easily scroll up and see it's contents.

Please let us know what you think about this.

I see the format tries to focus one on the content and keep folks on topic. Having some content carry over is a nice feature. Con the thread starter control what gets carried over to the page tops?

Can a regular thread be converted to an article thread?

Is this only for Civ, or would it be for all the forums? Would the OP be allowed to decide if discussion is allowed? If so, the RD option needs to be allowed.

The appropriate staff resources are unavailable for a few days. Be patient please.

Thanks :). Dropping by right now purely by chance.

The whole OP seems to be carried over, but only a short part will be displayed by default. No clue yet if we csn control anything.

Thanks @racha for answering the other question.

This needs to be set up per forum, so yeah, up to us how we decide.
It seems all articles are otherwise normal threads, so there will always be a discussion.
