Dario,
1.) As a fellow American (I think you stated Argentina?) I would suspect that you have a close time zone to me up in the Mid-West of the USA... heck, maybe even the exact same, for all I'd know... I'd have to look it up. Anyway, I don't see any big problem getting a game on.
2.) Let's get serious, here. I've never played PBEM or MP... but I think it should be obvious that getting a group together in close time zones (playing Europe or Asia would be great, but I'm not getting up at 'odd' hours) would be quicker than PBEM. However, remember I'm new, hence guessing.
So some questions: can the MP game be saved? Who saves it, and how? Obviously, we wouldn't finish a game in a few hours.
I guess what we'd want if we go this route, is a group to commit to 'get together' during a specified time, every day or so (and weekends?).
***So, how about we get focused on what we need. This is my proposition: we hereby declare that we will eventually start a game using USA Central Standard time zone... that way we compromise for players a couple of time zone hours EACH way. It's going to be later evenings... dependent mostly upon who all wants to play, and from what time zones (henceforth referred to at TZ). If everyone's in the CTZ, then great.
OK... I don't even know how to do it yet (we'll figure it out), but here's the game I offer. MGE to start. Central TZ. Later evenings and some weekend stuff.
Everyone who wants to play a scenario (I hope one of you can teach us), please state so, and also post your email address (easier for us to write everyone simualtaneously, rather than individually, and through a website).
Only two things more I can think of, as follows: first, the players who are 'IN'... vote for a scenario to play (probably 'modern', as it would be quicker??).
Secondly (and a question), if someone has to 'skip', or vacation, or whatever... is there some way that we can have the AI play that position that particular night? (yes, making the players country 'vulnerable', so don't skip out!
Who's IN, besides me?
