Civilization VI - Game of the Month 53

Welcome to the 53rd game in the 6OTM Series! These games will allow new and old GOTM fans to try out the new features in Civ6 in a friendly environment. Participants are encouraged to post questions, stories, advice, tricks and failures in the dedicated game threads (described below). Each game will specify the Civ you will play and the Victory Condition to strive for. We will be working to refine the 6otM concept as we move ahead with the series. Gifting of cities is an exploit in a religious VC as the AI cant see that it will lose if it accepts the cities.

Must Read!
We would like to ask you to abide by our most sacred rule: Don’t replay any turns! If you make a mistake, accept it and try to recover. To ensure fair play and prevent results exclusions, please set your Autosaves to 1 turn. In the event of a computer crash while playing, just reload to the previous save and play it as closely to how you played it the first time. Please let Leif know (via Conversation (Private Message)) if you experienced a crash and how many turns you replayed.

This game was created in Civ6 Rise and Fall version 1.0.0.262.
Game Requirements: vanilla version of Civilization VI with Rise and Fall expansion.

Gilgamesh's Unique Attributes:

Gilgamesh's Special Ability: Adventures of Enkidu: May declare war on anyone at war with their allies without warmonger penalties. When at war with a common foe, they and their allies share pillage rewards and share combat experience gains if within 5-tiles. Their Alliances gain Alliance Points for being at war with a common foe.

Unique Ability
: Epic Quests: When you capture a Barbarian Outpost, receive a Tribal Village reward in addition to the usual Gold. Pay half the usual cost to levy city-state units.

Unique Unit: War-Cart: Sumerian unique Ancient era unit. Stronger then all other starting units. No penalties against anti-cavalry units. 4-Movement if this unit starts in open terrain. Does not require the knowledge of any technology to build them (Can build from the start of the game) and does not requiring a resource.

Unique Infrastructure: Ziggurat: Unlocks the Builder ability to construct a Ziggurat, unique to Sumeria. +2 Science. +1 Culture if next to a river. Cannot be built on Hills. No requirements to build them, can be built from the start.

Non domination Deity. There will be happy people around even thought Gilgabro can easily go disguised domination.

Probably going to settle the hill on the other side of the river for increased production and early access to lots of Mercury for trade.
I might even consider the Industrial Zone with 5 adjacent mines (harvesting the sheep) but there won't be a lot of food to grow and put many districts so not sure about that.
 
Wow, the first Science Deity game since 6otM17 (thanks to @Lord Yanaek 's master list). And with an ancient era start too. Sweet Christmas :love:
 
Thanks a lot for preparing this without DLCs! I could load the save without problems.
