News: BOTM 45 Results and Congratulations

I enjoyed following the player's progress on this Immortal level modfied pangea. I tride to make a world where the pangea had begun to break up into continents, but still retain the features of a pangea. This made for some very exciting games and I enjoyed some really gripping spoilers. Thanks for participating, everyone!

First, I'd like to draw attention to the only Challenger victor, Rusten, who finished just short of a bronze medal with a spectacular display of Deity-level skill. I'd also like to congratulate the folks who managed to (with a bit of help) win the game on Adventurer level. Greeder, terminator3k, and Kime11. I hope this gives you the confidence to move up a level next time (if that's your goal).

And of course the biggest congratulations go to our victors! The top scores went to dominators, with the fastest and highest scoring srad , followed by lymond , and bcool leading the way! Well done!

Yes, pretty pitiful, isn't it? I had fun learning a lot more about nukes though. (And I owe a thank-you to TheMeInTeam for his Phoenix Rising video, without which I might not even have been able to win militarily.)

Anyway I'm still light years away from high-level masters. I still have no idea how could you win military victory on deity.

Congrats to all winners! Especially to Balthalion. This is REAL award. I still have no such thing. I was able to get conquest earlier, but on Adventurer save.

Congratulations to the winners on this one. It wasn't easy.


I was doing ok, but my sloppy diplomacy killed me dead around 1300AD. I got backstabbed and my army was cut in half. Eventually, I was at war with the entire world at the same time at the chokepoint and my one ally was Montezuma I had to ragequit.

Just goes to show that the best strategy is always kill Montezuma first.
