I am wondering what would happen if I did the following:
build a couple of warriors and send them exploring past the chokepoint until you find 1 or 2 civs but make sure to thouroughly explore that area. When you are done exploring, immediately declare war on the civ closest to your chokepoint and use your warriors to bait them towards your guerrillas. They AI sends whatever it has early on in the game so that they can't later bring a SOD containing like 500 tanks later in the game. The AI also tends to stack only if you let them. They will attack with any full health attack unit as soon as the opportunity is available and won't attack using a stack on purpose like a human player. Therefore, you can get them to waste their early archers and swordsman against your 5 guerrilas which only keep gettin stronger. If you wait, you'll have to face a SOD of like 6 billion medieval infantry. So I think you take your pick of early archers or 6 billion medieval infantry. What do you think?
