Thanks AlanH. I've never played with the Conquistadors so early. I always thought they came far too late and have never really been able to use them.

This doesn't look like the Iberian Peninsula to me.... Isabella in the northern region. Possibly she'll want to move south as there aren't any resources or luxuries to convince her to stay.

Worker goes 1S depending on what he/she sees, Settler 1E possibly.

2S shows a river so perhaps moving there would be good.

Isabella is religious and commercial. Perhaps a try at a culture win. Of course from my experience against her as an AI she is ruthless and a warmonger. Hmm?

Hmmm.....
Haven't played for a while... about 8 years in fact. I wonder if I can still remember anything at all?:undecide:

Any road up... No rivers and restless barbs and we are way up north. So, we (or I at least) will need a unit in every city to defend barbs, and it doesn't look like the capital will be on a river. Making gpt will be tough, and the AI researches slooooowly at regent I seem to remember. I might go for a 20K on this map if I have time, otherwise conquest it is.

Unless there is a cow or wheat discovered when moving the worker to the bonus grassland tile, or if the water is salty, the capital should be founded on the spot.

So... downloading the savegame now. See you in the middle ages.

I have extended the closing date on this game. It will now close on June 2nd.
