Anything in the fog? Or is that simply too much to ask?
The second obvious question, it seems to me, is whether to move the settler away from the bonus grassland.

What would you like to have in the fog? ;)

There´s already food, good tiles, a luxury...

The BG is sure nice. i think i´ll move up the hill NE.

Do you think with this setting a bc ConDom could be possible?

That was my first reaction as well. But then on second thought, I realized: we are already pretty much at the northern edge of the world. The tundra can already be seen. So I would rather move 1S or 1SW, depending on what the worker sees. That way we can hopefully get one full ring around the capital, not?

1S was my other idea, too. but i do not think it matters too much, tundra or not. very probably 1 town up there will be crappy anyway. i´m less of a believer in perfect rings, even in PTW, than what seems to be common sense here around.

Seems to me that the stack in on a BG. So the most probable spot is 1 SW. I guess it should be possible for some of the better players to finish this off with MWs. I'll give it a go myself. Who knows?

Why, more food of course. Ain't no such thing as agricultural civs in ptw.

It's too early to say whether BC victory is possible, but the general scope of the game certainly suggests it. I'm going Open, because of the prospect of an ultra-early victory. I'll also go for Conquest. This victory type tends to be the most enjoyable one when comparing with other players. If I try ConDom there will have to be some kind of in-game reason for it.

@ Megalou - i really thought this start already gave +5fpt! reason is that i was just about to finish my Iro HOF game in C3C when this came out and i thought, hey, great, i am absolutely warm for another game with mounties.

i´ll probably go for conquest as well, plus i´ll try to keep a better log than last time, so we can compare.

some day i´ll try to manage a bc ConDom though.

My first thought was QSC-time victory... :D
But I also had +5fpt in mind... :hammer2:

But it also depends on a source of horses around, however the conquest class obstacles indicate there are horses.
Or could initial TW help beginners to set up a swordmen conquest strategy early on? :crazyeye:

This looks like a quick one, I'll try to go for conquest, too to learn from you warmongers... ;)

I like the look of 1 S. I think I'll give this a go and try not to get distracted with building infra for a Conquest on MW's. Looking forward to seeing what the real war mongers come up with on this one.
