A Great Library/Oracle start should easily gain you a GS in time as well as help finish Liberty sooner.

This start gained me a GS at turn 94 in my prep game. I also builded the National Epic to speed up the GS.

I noticed that the Liberty-finisher-GS usually came earlier then the wonder-GS, so maybe building Gardens can let you get Chivalry before the 90's.

Also going Aristocracy before Liberty will shave a couple of turns of from GL and Oracle thus gaining more GS-points.

Very possibly, go Liberty and hit Theology/HS. tech Civil Service then open currency and clear HBR. double GS pop to Chivalry. (or grab Chichen Itza with a GE)..

I don't understand why you should build the HS or Chichen, when you're doing the double GS from Liberty and GL/Oracle. You end up with an extra wonder/GP?

I don't understand why you should build the HS or Chichen, when you're doing the double GS from Liberty and GL/Oracle. You end up with an extra wonder/GP?

sorry, those were different ideas. Getting the HS+finishing Liberty for 2 GSs might let you pop Currency/Chivalry in decent time.

Finishing Liberty is the hard part. Though, you can grab a cultural CS ally to help that part along, or finish the Oracle and not expand too much.
