I will update the Civ2 Downloads section soon. If you have any Civ2 file you want to add to the collection, just email it to me and it will be added in the update.

Here are some of the files that will be added:

- Morten Blaaberg's African graphics for Civ2
- Timothy Fowlkes's Rise Of The Roman Empire series scenario
- Timothy Fowlkes's War Of The Worlds
- A scenario about the Babylon 5 Narn/Centauri War
- Ruud Bruyns' World War I scenario
- CurtSibling's Dictator WW2 scenario for TOT
- ...as well as some maps.

I think that's about it. :)

thanks for the heads up

TF,

Just my humble opinion but I liked it better when you posted new scenarios one by one as you received them instead of in a batch. In the last bunch there were 21 items released together. Granted many were just updates or old scenarios but maybe the new ones could be released by themselves with some small screenshot like before for a better impact.

Thats great I hope you keep updating for a long time.Civ 2 is still my favorate game and its great people are still creating .My goal is to have a scenario posted some day I have 5 in progress but I keep getting stuck one day I will make it:goodjob:

Well, I know scenarios makers would like full coverage of their scenarios in the news page, but I can't do that for all the scenarios anymore just like I can't post full coverage for all the newly released Civ3 files because of time constraints & the large # of files and other Civ3 news updates. I'll continue to give scenarios full coverage whenever possible, especially for scenarios that clearly show the creators have put in a considerable amount of effort in making the scenario but new scenarios that are only 50 KB most likely won't get full coverage...

I agree kobayashi most of the time unless I see a size of 1mb or higher I wont get into it to much becouse it usually isnt much of a change.I know this isnt fair to the maker of the scenario but thats just how i fell  .A scenario maker who puts in the time for a giant scenario I dont think should get the same coverage as some one who changes a few dates or a land tile thier.Maybe the smaller ones should be in a seperate listing :)

is this gonna happen or what?

Sorry for the delay... :o I will start posting the scenarios tomorrow (I played too much Heroes3 in the last few days).

No, I haven't forgotten to update the download section. ;) The HTML pages are already updated. I am now uploading the files to the file server... Then I'll post about the update in the news... :king:
