About settler in BP:
I can't find where or who, but someone thought we should use the settler to improve land. Since we I can't find a build queue for BP, I started a new settler and decided to build C4 with this settler (it needs to clear jungle and also some protection from start).

Problem: Tenochtitlan (destination for our Dou caravans) just changed demand...
I decide to return gold caravan to Dou for wonders (no foreign demand). I'll let the trireme wait for Hides and Dye caravans to deliver them to Ten and Teotihuacan.

840 AD: Indians undertake STWA.
FJ celebrates. (cancel prod to make sure FJ benefits from it before settler is built (2s left))
FW builds food caravan. (starts settler)
EF builds copper carvan. (demanded by Dou, starts settler)

Trireme heads home.
RB harbor in Dou, switch back to bank. (6 turns left, furthest wondervan is 6 turns away)

880 AD: Zulus develop IW.
Montezuma requests audience (no unit contact, enthusiastic):
Invite us to join an alliance against the Zulus, we reject.
Chinesse once again attacks Berlin (winning against archers). This is not good, I rather own Berlin myself for cheap than let the chinese have it:(
Greeks nearly finish STWA.
Indians develop BB.
One barb knight lose against Greek phalanx, the other kills it, leaving Mycenae undefended with two barb knights close.

FJ builds settler. (starts another one, still celebrating)
VM builds food caravan. (another one)

Dip positioned to be able to revolt Berlin next turn if we want to.

Neu builds food caravan. (another one)
LP builds hides caravan (starts settler)

I can't tell from the screen shot--are there more Chinese units near Berlin? If it seems they are in immediate danger of actually taking the city then I say revolt it and claim it for our own. Otherwise, leave it for the time being, but perhaps use the dip to explore around the area a bit and see if there is a Chinese city nearby? This would both mean a constant stream of Chinese units attacking Berlin, and probably mean any units released from Berlin would head that direction, not towards us.

Are we in a position to bribe Mycenae? that might make a useful foothold on the Greeks if we're in a position to hold it.

I clearly remember that we are not allowed to bribe cities because I forgot it myself when discussing a dangerous barbarian invasion early in the game :D.

Yes, we can't bribe cities, only units. But we can use Mycenae as a second barb farm.

Maybe we shall try to get Chinese and Greek maps to see how bad it is.

I'll start playing now. A little later than usual, but I had to go to school today.:(
