NHL 2006 Playoffs

I would like to stress again that I've seen none of these teams play.

Don't worry about it. I've seen most (except Nashville) play, and I still don't think I'll get more than a third of my predictions right. At the end of the day, the biggest component of a championship remains luck.

As an aside, the only consensus is on the Ottawa/Tampa Bay series. I hope this bodes well.

sysyphus is the lone dissenter for Edmonton, Raisin Bran for the Rangers and ummmm........ for the Predators. Good luck one and all, and Go Sens!

well, to be fair, if the Leafs were playing, I'd also think they'd get blown out no matter who they were playing... I imagine he has as much of a hard time seeing the greatness in the Flames as I would in the Leafs.

Given his record regarding Flames predictions this season, it is quite obvious that now the Flames will sweep the series.

The thing is, without Hasek, I doubt the Sens will make it to the Finals. With him, they certainly would. My predictions relies completely on whether Hasek makes a return.

Additionally, in the West I would have a very difficult time choosing between the Flames and Stars. Really dependant on how each team performs in their first series.
