Nicknames

I was called Stabiliser during my neighbourhood soccer time. One guy said that I should "Stabilise yourself first!" because of my play style as defender, which was to try to intercept strikers at high speed, and immediately change direction if I missed so I could continue the chase. It was pretty hard on the grass, and after too much turning (actually more like kicking off in a new direction) my lower legs too, studs were definitely needed for grip.

I get called "*******" a lot.

...that and "studmuffin."

I usually get called Davo by people I know.

My friend Allan's nickname is 'Bork', short for 'Borkaline Battery for an ear', try beating that!

I'm going to start calling you 'Alexa' on account of your signature :p Don't take it as a compliment.

BTW Genghis, last time the subject came up it was 13...either you've got some magic pills or the common ruler is beyond the intellectual boundaries of your average Mongolian leader :D

My nickname is Spice. Or Kryddan, since I´m Swedish. Got it when I was seven but don´t remember why. :)

And yes, this is why my user name is what it is.

I have tons of nicknames that people call me and am fine with all of them. When I first meet people I introduce myself with me real name, but eventually they pick up one of my nicks. The strange thing is that people who know me best call me by my real name, so if one of my nicknames is used I know its from somebody who knows me but isn't that close to me.
