NitroJay's Late Start Saved Games

if we lose legions, would it be history accurate?
Hmmm, well the legion placement was guesswork coupled with trying to balance the german tribes, so changing it would be fine :p

I haven't downloaded, but if you want the barbarians to invade, I strongly suggest you remove the Praetorians from border cities.

Or but the barbarions in the tile next to the city =p

They're not barbs, because I needed them to be at war with Rome only. They're one of the indepedents.

More accurate than an immensely overpowered Rome. ;)

Yes, but a slightly weaker Rome may have been enough to keep the barbarians in Europe. I'll give the scenario a try shortly.

i'm just thinking out loud

Hey, can someone post a new American Save? =D please. I played the one that is here, and all the games that i try to play now are with that tech bug... =p

So if someone can post a new American save... =) i thank you.

I played it with no tech bug, but if someone shows me how to do the upload then I could put one on tomorrow for you, its 25 past midnight here and I would probably post it around 5 in the evening tomorrow if no one beats me to it...

in the Quick Reply Box ( \/ ) there is a red icon with an arrow... click in it. And then select the file, and press "Upload File". Then just copy the code here in the foruns...

Oh ok sounds simple enough, if you want I could upload quite a few, as it doesn't take long to load later civs on my computer. are the any other civs that people need uploading? and do you want it for RFC or the Flavour units version?

Sadomacho has finished his flavoured units mod?

I really need to read this forum properly.

Well, I can't speak for everyone but I imagine so.

Ok it has gone through the first 100 turns, so only 200 to go and I started it 10 mins agom but the turns take longer later on so I will post it when its done.

Finaly I will have made a contribution!

Axemen with navigation to speed them up, they weren't taking Rome fast enough to be realistic.

Overpowered Celts because the Romans never kept (or took I think) much of Scotland.

I was told not to put much Christianity in.

Did the Romans have bureaucracy? If so, I'll change my save forthwith! :p

Why would they have super-specialists?

Argh, I forgot the workers :(

EDIT: Also, the number of Roman cities is because the amount I had before was crippling the economy, making Rome unstable and generally being a nuisance. I thought that since this was meant to be Rome's Golden Age, it shouldn't be like that.

Specialists to have more cities (without GA Rome should be running with 0-10% science).
Rome started losing cities after 400AD so Axemans should not be so fast.
Celts should have city defence bonus, not city attack- they didn't conquered Britain but defended themselves.
Christianity probably should be in Rome and somewhere in Greece/Turkey region.

Also you should change a building queue in cities (cities are now making buildings that are already built).
