No-CD Patch for Test of Time?

Cedric Greene's AOL site has a patch to downgrade ToT to FW, if you are interested:

There was some discussion in another recent thread about a patched ToT that did not require the CD. I think Duke was going to ask TF about putting it on the Downloads page.
Otherwise, there are a few ways to trick the game into thinking there is a Civ2 CD installed. It just looks on a "CD-drive" (which you can fake with a virtual CD driver) for /CIV2/CIV2.EXE. The EXE file does not even have to be a legit program. So if you set up a virtual CD drive (takes 64K minimum?) and stick something with that name there, it should work. Why doesn't someone just post the darned thing and be done with it? I'll attach it here. If there's a problem I'll remove it. It works for versions 1.0 and 1.1 - but of course nobody uses version 1.0, right?
