No mods work...

an oddity. i have cleared game cash. but no matter what mod i load, i get no starting units, no tech tree. by no starting units i mean no graphics. the icons are there, i can settle a city and same with warrior. I do not see another with this problem any clues?

I do not have gods and kings, just civ5.

without any mods its all okey? if yes it sounds like you are maybe using two incompatible mods together.

Enable logging (in C:\Users\{USERNAME}\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\config.ini change "LoggingEnabled = 0" to "LoggingEnabled = 1") and look in the database.log, lua.log and xml.log files (in C:\Users\{USERNAME}\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Logs) for clues

only one mod in use. does not matter which mod i use, same problem. One may be submarines can enter enemy lands. The other may be ingame map editor. Same problems across the board.
