Do most players feel that this new feature is a nice balance between the "no tech trading" option and default?

This setting combined with obnoxious barbarian hordes makes the game very interesting and quite more winnable.
Tis a great offset against the AI's.
In my last game it was 1997 and Ghandi was still working on steam power. Now if tech brokering were allowed, he would have been on top or the boards.

If it was a default option I would play with it, but for the most part I just play with default settings.
