no,no. that's just plain silly, that they won't bring out the game 'cause of the civ of the week.
i guess the civ of the week has absolutely no impact on the release date; and i'm sure the people at firaxis want to have an intereseting web-page after the launch of civ3 too.

(this was my first post!! do i get civ3 for free now???)
