Yes, I am a noob. I have tried 3 last games on noble, everytime one of my enemies annihiliated me. Damn. I need some democracy tips to keep everyone happy. I play always custom game with no time limit and permament alliances and no barbarians. If that matters...

This is where you're going wrong. You can't make everyone happy. See how the AI's relate to eachother, see which AI is strong and which is weak, chose your friends and chose your enemies and stick to your guns.

Remember, there is a time for diplomacy, and there is a time to burn their heathen cities to the ground. :)

It also helps to found a religion and spread it around the world,
so that the important Civs (who you want to be friends with) share yoiur religion.

And you shouldn´t neglect your military. The Powergraph is an important tool on which the AI bases its decisions which other civ to attack next and which not.

If you're talking about how to keep your people happy, find those luxuries. Either get them in your own empire or trade surplus with your friends.

Indeed, you can't make all the AI your friends. You'll be someone's "worst enemy", or at the least one of your friends will get mad at you for not quitting your dealings with another of your friends who happens to be their worst enemy. Choose one or two powerful allies and develop those friendships.

Whoa! Thats where I got wrong! Well, on my current game, I shoulda keep eye on that graph :D

On a more helpful note, I second those who insist that you can't please everyone. Trying is just going to get everyone pissed at you. Choose your friends wisely, and make sure your military is large enough to ward off your enemies.
