I didn't meet a single AI until, i believe, T12, and that was a scout so it could've traveled quite a ways in that amount of time. Currently i just met the 2nd AI (Joao) on T20. I'm pretty scared of the barbs here as there seems to be a ton of open land and no AI units to keep them in check. AH did not reveal horses anywhere that I've scouted. Mining just finished and I'm strongly considering teching Archery right now before BW. If we started with a warrior i might feel differently, but right now i feel like i need at least one archer before i can safely settle a 2nd city.
