Nominations for Term 5 are open!

Duke asked me and Eyrei to put up the election threads, as he has no time to do them. According to our new constitution, the Nomination/Election process is as follows:

Point 10 Election Schedule
A Nominations begin on the 24th (22nd in February)
B Debates begin on the 26th (24th in February)
C Polls open on the 29th (27th in February)
D Polls close on the last day of the month.
E Elections will be held for all offices at the beginning of the game.

Please also note that this is our first election with strict acceptance. That is, each citizen may run for only one office.

Shouldn't there be threads for province 9 (Pharsalos) and 12 (Island cities)? Unless I'm mistaken, elections should be held for all provinces with one active Phoenatican city.

I have two question President Chieftess. What is the purpouse of two Calender dates? Example:

Nominations begin on the 24th (22nd in February) -President Chieftess

. Do different Countries use different Calender formats? I dont mean to sound like a newbe .

There's only 28 days in February so everything starts 2 days earlier.

How long do we have to decide if we want to accept a nomination? Is the 26th the deadline?

Do we need a judicial review or just an interpretation?

How are Nomination Debates going to work? Note this is my first time running for office.

Debate threads will be opened up. The only people allowed to post there are candidates who have accepted nominations for the positions. They answer questions posted by the Inquisitors group. Anybody can be an inquisitor, just add a question to that thread.
