I can't think of any right off, but if you do, post here:)

If you're using Windows and love to chat on IRC, mIRC is so worth the 20$ it costs.

Linux with Windoze, OpenOffice or Symphony, Firefox with AdBlock add-on. :p

I have Linux, openoffice and Firefox. They don't cover the same bases as Windows, MS Office and Opera.

I'm well aware of the capabilities of each, and if I thought my money would be better spent elsewhere, wouldn't be buying the software. ;)

Kaspersky internet suite, Microsoft Office (slowly learning 2007), XP pro, ?

I concede that MSOffice is a lot more powerful

[rant]Yeah, it has features coming out of its ears alright. Word's OK.....after I find out how to tell it not to bring up those formatting tags that jump in front and wont go away.....and stop trying to select the whole sentence unless I mouse over it, and show the whole of menus instead of hiding half of them, and not to rush off to the net every time it thinks I need help, and get rid of those wavy red and green lines over the page.

A little more like word97 would be OK :p

I say that word is mature and it's about time it came with windows in place of wordpad as standard. [/rant]

Wordpad hasn't been updated since Windows 95, I think.
Notepad hasn't been updated since at least Windows 3.1. Probably same as the first Windows. I know this as I was playing with my DOSBox version of 3.1.
