None of the Civ IV games will load =(

Was playing this morning, no issues. Tried all of the different expansions and the base game and all gave me a Windows Explorer page that said "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." I have been playing for about 3 months all solo (I am not ready to get my a** kicked yet) and have never had a problem. Any help or additional info requests would be appreciated.

I don't quite understand what is happening: you click on the shortcut and it opens internet explorer?

That is correct... I am the first to admit I am not a computer genius. However, it seems very strange indeed! I have tried my desktop and start menu shortcuts as well as start--> all programs ---> Firaxis games --> all iterations of the game. All garner the same result. My limited computer knowledge has led me to try the above, and restart my computer. Beyond that, I am clueless as to what else to attempt.

Quite frustrating... especially since my save started with me on an island with 2 AIs that got wiped out by barbarians soon after the start. So I am primed to take over... once I get Astronomy.

Edit: I also found the saves folder and attempted to load that way with no avail.
