Hi there,

I was just wondering but it seems that Qin Shi Huang's portrait and Kublai Khan's have been switched. And the weird thing is, both have their leader heads behind the original portrait's background. So, for example, Kublai Khan is known as "Qin Shi Huang" and is behind the Great Wall of China, yet his face and body is still the same.

Is this a bug? And if so, how can I fix it?

I installed fresh from Civ IV. No Warlords and moved onto BtS. Insalled the patches. Any ideas?

Actually you got it wrong ;) The bug was that in Vanilla the heads were switched and this was corrected in Warlords :p

Actually, I don't think it was. I recall in Warlords, it was still the same.

So, you mean that they are in the right place now? The original Kublai Khan head is meant to be for China?

it was changed in warlords 2.08, yes, the original Kublai Khan is actually qin shi huang di

If you look at a few real paintings of them it becomes clear that they were switched to begin with :crazyeye: Some suspect it had to do with a calm/aggressive stereotyping issue, I am not sure myself but it is possible.

I was confused about this too. Thanks for clearing that up!

Thanks chaps for explaining! I just did have a gander on Wiki and your right, the replaced heads do look accurate for both Qin Shi Huang and Kublai Khan.
