The newest patch For BTS, I have installed, when I go to play online, or even just check for updates, I have a little patch not found thing, but when I go to Install the patch again, it says I have it. I've tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling multiple times...

Actualy, now I have a WORSE problem, I tried Install/Reinstalling, and it had to end during the middle of Instalation, now it says it's completely installed, vut when I play it is missing EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. all it has is the folders. Also, when I go to remove it (add or remove programs button) it pops up an Error. The Reg civ4 just pops up a Have to Close directly after I try to remove it, same thing, all the folders are empty, I've tried System Restores, but nothing works...

try all of the following that is possible (ignore the warlords stuff if you don't have it):

install the most recent version of DirectX 9c from Microsoft

then do the following for a clean reinstall:

Uninstall and Reinstall Civ4 Warlords BtS :

Try to follow this order when doing stuff:
Use Control panel to uninstall Beyond the Sword, then Warlords, then Vanilla
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 4" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\warlords" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\beyond the sword" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\sid meier's civilization 4" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\warlords" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\beyond the sword" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application data\my games\sid meier's civilization 4" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application data\my games\warlords" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application data\my games\beyond the sword" manually
(note: application data is a hidden directory so you need to configure windows explorer to show hidden files, also these directories in application data are sometimes removed by the uninstall routine)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}" (Civ4)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{3E4B349F-10B5-4586-9D99-489A90A8B228}" (Warlords)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}" (BtS) (note: InstallShield Installation Information is a hidden directory so you need to configure windows explorer to show hidden files).

also before starting the reinstall start the registry editor (regedit) and delete all keys with Firaxis in their name as well as:
{CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}
{3E4B349F-10B5-4586-9D99-489A90A8B228} (IF you have Warlords)
{32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}

then
Install Vanilla, immediately patch it to 1.61 (download it fresh from here)
Install Warlords, immediately patch it to 2.08 (download it fresh from here)
Install Beyond the Sword, immediately patch to 3.13 (download it fresh from here).

actually those up there are the complete file paths - so just click on my computer then on local hard drive (has usually the letter C:) then click on e.g.
\documents and settings
then on
\<username>
then on
\my documents
then on
\my games
then delete
\sid meier's civilization 4
to take care of the first item and so on down the list. Make sure though to set the properties of windows explorer to show hidden files or else you will not find certain items :)

How would I configure it (Sorry, I Know my way around a bit of XML, but not friggen settings for stuff T.T) can I delete the whole folders? XO

All right, I got it to the point that I can Re-Install it, but now it decides to go Non-Responsive when I put in 2nd disc... Then, what happened before happens, gotta find the stuff, go through the pain of finding everything to find out you missed something.

um, actualy. I found out WHY I beleive. i beleive I still had a Firaxis thing in the regedit. I got Civ4 installed, now time for BTS

Alright, my original reason for posting is happening again. It's not dvd

Ok, so I Installed Civ4, now on to BTS Right?
Wrong...
Right now I'm getting an error once I get to: "C:\...\..\Warlords\Assets\Sound\Diplomacy\Shaka_Late.mp3"

the error is:

Feature: NewFeature1
Component: WarlordsComponent2
File: D:\data3.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

cyclic redundancy check errors have just about two causes:
1) cd drive does not work properly
2) disc is damaged

have you tried copying all contents of the cds to your hard drive and running the install from there? if the disc is damaged it won't work, if the drive is having hickups it just might. Do you have access to another computer to try if copying the files from this cd works - which would tell you for sure if your disc has a problem?

if there are no scratches on the cd it might just be dirty - try cleaning it with a soft cloth...
