Assuming this hasn't been fixed yet (I skipped some of the posts because they sacred me) I would suspect you don't have enough room on your hard drive to copy the mod. You will need about 500 meg of free space for the mod to be able to load.

Sorry, just had to check I also had the power to defy the 10-char limit. I do. Not sure what the loading problem is, but Kael may be right, not enough hard disk space. Have you tried loading the mod from inside vanilla, just to see if that works?
