simultaneous turns is always a good idea... Makes gameplay infinitely faster with minor inconveniences.

I can stay up at nights sometimes if it is arranged beforehand but i won't stay up just in hope of getting a session together...
 
I myself usually am putting the kids in bed and eating dinner between 7pm and 10pm, my days off are during the week so in actuality it may be hard for me to get a accelarated start in. I say we get this thing going. Map size and players are up to you.

I am planning on kicking this off around 6pm local with all the players that have sent in their leader list. Right now we have 6, we may have up to 8 if I hear back from everyone. I am guessing we will fit okay under standard size, even with 8.
 
I think he sent a pm to everyone interested(basically list the top 5 leaders you want to play, non-financial). As long as people are able to make regular or irregular live sessions i don't think it would be a problem with more people... He said it would be starting up like today though... as for 8 you were orginally planing 5 + 3 AI right? so 8-10 shouldn't be a problem at all
 
I played also. Is it going to be possible to register this game w/ civstats so we can know when our turn is nigh?
 
I have never used civstats, do I don't know if it will be possible. I will have to look into it later.

Btw, I sent out an emial, but the game is accessed through the Civ4 BtS internet lobby.
 
Why haven't i gotten any pm with the ip etc for this game?

Kinda hard to play when i don't have any info.. I think you could even have found my email if you wanted...
 
Oyzar, I think I have you fixed up...sorry 'bout that.

Just looked over CivStats. I will install that at my first oppurtunity, which might be later today, otherwise tomorrow.

The without knowledge rule is very hard to withhold and I will certainly try to gain knowledge i can't get through the game and act on it if suitable... We are humans and communication should be allowed. Of course any sort of agreement should be allowed as it is basically impossible to stop some kind of agreements through the gamerules(so yay to the first and nay to the second).
 
BBFrancis can't play gamespy. It looks like we need one person to take over (actually, start) Suleiman. Interested parties, contact me. BB, did you try out the gamespy interface through the game? And it does not work for you?

Btw, CivStats started up, game No. 700, name Folly.
 
Looks like we need the registration password to register out leader in Civstats, PM it out please. Also is there supposed to be a in-game countdown timer? Its been stuck on 00:00
 
I think you have to register your username with CivStats and create your own password? I am not sure? Let me know if that works.

Also, I think the timer stays at 0 until all the players have joined. Which is good, seeing as we need a new player :(.

I think you (administrator) must provide us with passwords... Only then right players will be registered...

edit: and one more thing- if bb still can not play, we can post in new thread, asking for new player...
