Who would win a close combat Fight: The alien off of the Alien series or the Predator?
Personally i think the alien would win, even if it loses the predator still gets it from the acid for blood. Plus the alien is fast as hell and is evil.

Since the Aliens were genetically engineered by the Predators to provide a decent hunting challenge, I assume the Predators would usually win (though not always, or where's the challenge?).

Anyone know if there are still plans for the Aliens vs Predator film?

Oh please....the aliens were badass, but they couldn't even kill a skinny whimp like ripley. How are they supposed to take down a trained killer with a seemingly unlimited supply of deadly weapons?

But then again, the Predators wer kinda stupid.......

Well....

In hand to hand I think the Alien would whip the Predator. This is almost a positive. But.....with any more than 10 feet seperating them....I say Predator. It always seemed to have weapons, it was stealthy, and deadly.

In the game Aliens vs Predator, one predator is a match for many aliens. With their main weapon the plasma cannon, the P does not have to worry about the acid, as you see from the movie it cauterizes the wound all the way through.

It all depends on the arena. In a jungle-type environment, or underground in an area with lots of cover, my money is on the Aliens. In the open, where the Predators superior fire-power means something, I'll go with him. If we're talking a nest of Aliens being invaded by a Predator hunting party, then my money is on the hunters, unless the Aliens have something tricksy up their chitin...
