I've been downloading a few Nox Arcana albums, and I've got to say I think the slightly creepy atmosphere of Grimm Tales fits FFH2 pretty much perfectly. I'd highly recommend it to all FFH2 players.

I agree, I even sent an email to the artist (Joseph Vargo) letting him know that Grimm Tales is my favorite album of his so far. You can check it out, along with all his CD's at this site: http://www.noxarcana.com/

For thsoe that don't know Nox Arcana makes awesome atmospheric music that is used (with permission of the artist) in Fall from Heaven. Joseph was even good enough to include a link to the mod from his site (http://www.noxarcana.com/vr.html?/fun.html).

Yeah, I have started to listen to Nox Arcana thanks to FfH. I usually love this kind of music but they can sometimes be hard to find (it isn't actually popchart main stream) so thanks Kael (and thanks Joseph).

Cool. Have to check it out.

Wow... this stuff fits FfH perfectly. From the site, I thought I was going to get hit with some metal, but... hrm. This is pretty great.

Nox Arcana should really be suggested for any mod modders out there who are thinking of adding a new civ.

Nox Arcana announces Phantoms of the High Seas
Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowski have been hard at work on the tenth Nox Arcana cd, Phantoms of the High Seas. The new album will center around dark legends of ghost ships that haunt the misty night and promises to be drenched in pirate lore. Joseph Vargo states "The album is a cross between the haunting melodies of Transylvania and Carnival of Lost Souls, and the epic sounds of Blood of the Dragon. There are some really elaborate orchestrations and big chanting choirs, but there are also some very creepy sounding ghostly tracks to raise some shivers. Fans of Pirates of the Caribbean will love this release." The new cd is set to sail later this fall, just in time for the Halloween season.

:woohoo:

Sounds awesome, these guys are amazingly prolific. I ran into William Piotrowski at a convention earlier this month and he said that Joseph works constantly. I dont doubt it.

Ever tried Midnight Syndicate? Same style as Nox Arcana (or vice versa - don't know which one was there first) and great to listen to. :D

Any plans on including new tracks to the sondtrack, Kael?

Nope, not that Im closed to the idea. But its not an area Im planning to revisit anytime soon.

The first samples from Phantoms of the High Seas have been posted, here

BTW, is the FfH main menu theme also by Nox Arcana?

Hm... I player it for HoMM4 for quite a long time and I completely don't remember it... Are you sure?
Or is this a joke...?
