numbers missing in world map view

Hi everyone,

I am sure, there is a solution to this somewhere in this forum, but I can't seem to find it.

Problem as follows:
Athlon 1,8 GHZ
768 RAM
Radeon 9200 SE (latest omega (2.6.75))

Game used to run fine (regarding graphics) until the second patch. After installing patch #2 the numbers next to the things being built in a city vanished and the number indicating how many turns till growth vansihed too.

It's not a big problem I know, but there is something wrong: Is it my driver or is it the game? It'd be nice if anyone could tell me.

It's a game option you must have turned on originally and then forgot about it. Look for something like "Detailed city info" in the options menu. And no, I don't know why anybody would want that off (which is the default). It can't possibly have a noticeable effect on performance.

Great! You are right. Never knew, what it changed before. I turned it back on and now the numbers are back. Thank you, oh wise one!
