I just wanted to use 16xAA, but it doesn't work. 8xAA works fine, though.
Does anybody know what the problem could be?

I have a MSI 8800GTS 320Mb, Core 2 Dual @ 1,86Ghz (E6300), 2Gb ram.

I run Vista Ultimate and the nVidia-driver is 163.11, DirectX of june 2007.

If any more info needs to be supplied, just ask :)

Bug Description:
16x anti-aliasing doesn't work on nVidia 8800GTS 320mb

Expected Behavior
Game should smooth edges with 16xAA

Actual Behavior
Game doesn't smooth edges on 16xAA, but it does smooth them on lower AA settings.

Steps to reproduce

1. Choose 16xAA in the graphics option menu
2. Game refreshes screen
3. Graphics look like no anti-aliasing is used.

I can confirm this as well, but I am not sure. A lot of different games don't let 16x AA work, some do however. I am not sure exactly what the divide is between which games let it work and which don't.

GeForce 8's are awesome though :) Too bad DX10 kinda sucks for now :(

I've made 2 screenshots, as examples.
The first is with 8xAA, the second is with 16xAA.
One thing, though. I've just reïnstalled Vista and now the driver is 100.65

Edit:
Bugger JPEG-compression :(
You couldn't tell because the of the compression :(

If you e-mail them to me (cfcgotm@gmail.com) as lossless files (eg. .bmps) I will post them.
