Oddity ive notisted

I when out of town for a few days, but was still able to use the computer. Ive noticed since ive been home today that my post count is about 100 of so off what it was. (proboly wouldnt even seen this if i hadnt just reached 2000 posts a few days ago). Anything that could explain this oddity?
 
Tbe most probable explanation is you remember your postcount wrong. :)

I haven't deleted any forum or re-calculated people's postcounts in a while.

The way i notice things is that i always look at my post count when i get on and when i log out for the day, just to see how much i posted of whatever. I seem to remember some odd pattern the other day involving the same number being at the beginning and end, or something like that.

But im just the best explanation is that i a) forgot, or b) something was screwy about that computer (which is possible becuase i was visitng family and they've been having computer problems as of late).

That explains it then (number of missing post is more like 50, so this seems about right)
I just read your post on the issue i another thread Lefty. ;) Those threads got boring quickly to me anyway. :D
 
This is why nobady's posting anymore in the word assoc. thread.

I posted in the word ssoc. t. and my post count didn't get reduced like yours archer
 
On a further note, I also keep a list of word game and avatar threads (on spreadsheet), and delete them once they're way out of sight, just to be methodolical... ;) :evil:

Well, there's still the 'sweet girl', the 'crazy scientist girl', the 'absent-minded girl', the 'little mischievious girl', the 'sweet girl's twin', the 'aunt', the 'sister', and the 'Todai-wannabe girl' (last vol of manga ;)). :p

Did I miss anyone else? :mischief:
 
I did a search using Google. ;) Also you can try at making them yourself, if you have the images.
 
Hmmm, you'd think there would be a way in vB to prune ancient threads without reducing our precious, er, I mean, meaningless and entirely secondary to enjoyment of the forum, post counts.
 
That idea is proboly possible, but its not really needed. Once someone hits 300, it's all unimportant. I only posted this thread cause i thought there may have been a server problem or something that could have messed up something more important then a little number on the side of the screen.
