Ahh yes I forgot to post in here that it's out now! Here's the release announcement trailer that @The_J may wish to post in the news.
My current computer can't run it either so I can't give my own gameplay thoughts. However since I run the Master of Magic fans Facebook and Discord groups I'm seeing plenty of other MoM veterans feedback. So far feedback is okay but a bit mixed. Some people love it and feel it's captured the heart of the original, some feel its failed and is not good enough. Out of those disappointed people some feel it will get better with patches and mods and MuHa have said they certainly plan to do patches, DLC and increased mod support.
Sadly the player limit is still 5 civs only. I protested this one quite a bit during development, as while it was fine in 1994, its not okay to have so few players in 2022, but nope.. no luck..
.
Now, as the new Master of Magic is released, what are your thoughts and impressions about the new game ?
I am considering to buy it, but it needs free 10 GB and at present I have only 3,7 GB free on my pc, so I would have to delete some other games. One answer I haven´t found in the GOG and steam comments: How many different magicians can participate in a game with the new Master of Magic ? They only say, that there are 14 different magicians, but can they all participate in a single game ?
