Napoleon looks a bit odd. That camera angle makes him look too tall.

But Lizzy and Peter look great. ^^

Napolean was never short - the idea that he was "super short" is a huge myth that never got corrected.

    From Wiki:
    Misconceptions about Napoleon's height

Contrary to popular belief (perpetuated by the above-mentioned caricatures), Napoleon was not especially short. After his death in 1821, the French emperor's height was recorded as 5 feet 2 inches in French feet. This corresponds to 5 feet 6.5 inches in Imperial (British) feet, or 1.686 meters, making him slightly taller than an average Frenchman of the 19th century [8]. The metric system was introduced during his lifetime, so it was natural that he would be measured in feet and inches for much of his life. A French inch was 2.71 centimetres [9], whereas an Imperial inch is 2.54 centimetres. In addition to this miscalculation, his nickname le petit caporal adds to the confusion, as non-francophones mistakenly take petit as meaning "small"; in fact, it is an affectionate term reflecting on his camaraderie with ordinary soldiers.

Hmm... Guess you learn something new every day.

Of course since all leaders are caricatyres, short Nappy would fit the theme quite well.

The leader heads are nice. But I noticed that the descriptions are not always descriptions. With mao Zedong and Julius Ceasar they indicate that they were dictators. With most of the other leaders just their formal title is indicated.probably also were dictators. Caesar means Emperor. The official title of Mao was chairman. Why do these political opinions get on a website?

Actually Dictator was Caesar's formal Title (He was going to be crowned King, but the Senate had differing opinions on that.)

In Rome, a Dictator was a recalled military war hero. Over time, that word has come to mean a totalitarian, bloodlusting, peasant-crushing, egomaniac at the helm... :king:

    1. "making him slightly taller than an average Frenchman of the 19th century." - so to begin with, he was already taller than the average man in his time.

    2. 5'6" is still a lot taller than the myths of him being 4 to 5 feet tops.

Actually, "Caesar" is Latin for "hairy." Which partly explains why Caesar was so sensitive about his receding hairline. It only came to mean "Emperor" after Augustus seized power.

Anyway, "dictator" literally means, "the one who speaks," or more significantly, "he whose word is law." That is to say, there are no effective checks on his power. Seems a pretty accurate and non-political description of the authority that Gaius Iulius Caesar and Mao Tse-Tung had at the height of their powers.

    I've just tried those links
    Downloads
    Says
"Downloadable content for Civ IV is coming soon."
in internet options I tried delete temporary file and cookies and history and everything else I could find, then pressed refresh with no change
    Civilizations
    is the homepage
    no change there either
    Civ Comparisons
    Says
"Civ Comparisons is coming soon. This section will outline how Civilization IV compares to the previous versions of this much-heralded franchise."
again deleted everything and pressed refresh and still no change

I also tried a few links on the civ4 site and couldn't find any movies
so I'm not lazy I've been looking for 20 minutes and just can't find anything new.
