Ogedei's City Graphics, take 2

New? I've been doing this for years already. :crazyeye:

And I don't put any links in my sigs because everything's already in the city graphics library. :)

Well not all of them individually, what I meant was like a link to "My (your) graphics library" or something. Like, I know you, Yoda, have been here for a while, and not just by looking at your Join Date info, but I have no idea if you made anything...

Ming-Qing Dynasties completed. Notice the large porcelain kiln. ;) Next is the ROC-PRC era. Once I finish with this set, I'll work on a Dai Viet set. :)

Top work, excellent cities :goodjob: I really like the colours, but don't you think that the blue is a bit too bright? Maybe you should lessen the saturation a bit. But else, as I said, top job.

... plus Aion Indian cities coming soon...
I can't guarantee on that 'soon' part.

How does this look for Modern China? Modern Chinese cities typically retain some of the old city walls, which is why I kept the city gate and medieval wall features.

A preview of my next project - Vietnam.

This is based somewhat on architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty (1792-1883) period. :)

"Nguyen" is just one of those really common names. ;) There are a whole bunch of different Vietnamese names; I can't pronounce any of them, though. :p Some names are just Vietnam-ized versions of Chinese names (like my father's name is "Minh" which is just a Vietnam-ized version of the Chinese name "Ming"; the pronounciations are almost identical in both languages). Nguyen is also a surname, so sometimes you might have someone named "Nguyen Nguyen" (like the guy that was in my high school gym class) :crazyeye: . There's a bunch of different Vietnamese dynasties such as the Dinh, Tran, the Ly, and so on.
