using WB to check city coordinate and editing DefinesEarth1936.lua with notepad or another text editor (I suggest Notpad++), search for g_Initial_OOB then down in the UK lines, one of the RAF x,y position may be wrong (must be a city).
 
No clue why it is there, no problem for UK players, though!
 
I've got the Spitfire in the city of Cairo now, but I'm still having a crash. Changed the coordinates from 36,40 to 36,44.

EDIT: Actually, there's also Heinkel 111 unit in the desert right beside Baghdad. I'll fix that, see if the crashes stop. I think I'll just delete it, or change it's coordinates to Berlin. Not sure what German city it should actually belong to.
 
try to look at the log, else you'll have to wait for T_KCommanderbly update.
 
The last thing the log says is

[23927.152] RedMain: - Infantry is already registered as UNIT_INFANTRY

And I moved the Heinkel, the turn lasted a bit longer but still crashed. It always happens during the processing of city states moves, but the turn processed longer while doing the city states after fixing the Spitfire and Heinkel.
 
On the 1936 map playing as any nation on turn 7/8 game crashes. Try to load save it reports: unable to load texture [WW2Infantry01Atlas64.dds] and also says: unable to load texture [dom_france.dds] (I was playing as france changes based on country). Is there a fix?
 
no support for 1936 maps, they are WIP, see the corresponding dedicated threads.
 
Use this thread to report bugs and crashes using R.E.D. WWII Edition.


Before reporting a bug, please try the following :
  • Delete the content of your game cache folder (..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache\)
  • Make sure you don't have multiple version of R.E.D. WWII Edition and R.E.D. WWII Data Files in your mod folder (..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS), multiple versions installed may cause bugs, even when only one is activated. Just keep the most recent version of both part.
  • Enable lua loging : open the config.ini file (in "..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5") with notepad or any other text editor, find the line with "LoggingEnabled = 0" and replace by "LoggingEnabled = 1"
  • Launch the game, and if you still have the bug go to the "..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Logs" folder, either open Lua.log with your text editor and save the log as a .txt file or simply zip the log file and then post it here as an attachment to your post (don't try to copy/paste it, it may be too long for the allowed post size)

I don't see a "LoggingEnabled" anywhere. I see several other types of log codes, but not this one. Could it be under any other name?
 
I tought Military was prereqisite for project. As you can see in the picture I still havent build it but have project to research. The military base is build in that city.

Playing with workshop installed version, 1939 europe deity hitler, alternate history, etc.

tryed reinstall/clear cache etc. Same procedure. Fall of Poland works for me as Hitler, Fall of France doesn't. Tryed new game and just tested for the crash by adding units arround capitals. Poland works, France crashes.

Also my world 1942 game crashes now on every savegame although started with the same Version but with an error message. Forgot the exact message, but it seems critical...
 
you add units using WB or firetuner ?

if the later, reveal all maps and try to remove all units except yours in French territory.
 
I added them via IngameEditor mod. It took to long to play a normal game to test the same situation i had several douzens times before again. So i just did as described. Open game, play till France DoW and add units, capture Paris and saw the crash.
 
Probably already reported, but right side notifications about war and peace often display wrong flags, no flags or missing text ("xxx made peace with!").

just fired up the mod for the first time and saw it right away too. there's around a dozen war-related notifications and each one is incorrect

yep, it's one of the oldest thing I want to fix, still not found the time to look at the notification code.

the flags are not corresponding to the civs involved.

didn't know IGE was working with R.E.D., if you use it I suppose it could replace the Firetuner.

So, please, reveal the map and remove all units from France (except the one about to capture Paris), then try the capture and see if it still crash.

the Military Academy is required to design new units.

"Upgrade" projects require the factory type of the unit that will be upgraded, and "military operation" projects require a military base.
 
Used Ingameeditor and deleted all units from france terretory all over the map: UK units, French units and my own. Just 1 infantry to capture paris. Crashes again. Same kind of crash (instant shut down, message "not working anymore"-> Desktop).
