I did.I'm surprised nobody mentioned what I think the best designed Civ is: The Aztecs.
ETA: Oh, I didn't. I intended to post the list of civs I thought were well done in my post about Dostoevsky, but I guess I got distracted or ran out of time. Well, I thoroughly concur that the Aztecs are the best designed civ in the game. I think America is bland but overall thematically appropriate as well. Persia is pretty well-designed, disregarding Cyrus and the unfortunate lack of focus on the not-yet-introduced governors that's already been mentioned. Japan has the most thematically perfect design it's had yet in the franchise IMO. Sumer is by far the worst. They should have just called the civ The Epic of Gilgamesh.
